Don't adopt a puppy from a kennel that treats their dogs like a business, choose a family breeder whose puppies are not raised in a cage but in a home filled with love.
OUR STORY
Family Breeder
The dream of Progeny Puppies is to bring the perfect little companions into the world by parents that are happy and healthy and raised in an environment where they can grow the same.
MOM AND DAD

Our dam, Reya, is an ACA registered purebred Siberian Husky. The sire is a Huskimo, like their puppies (100% Siberian Husky and American Eskimo mix). Our parents are fed the best food and raised in a loving environment surrounded with comfortable beds and plenty of love.
HEALTH

Both parents have been tested negative as genetic carriers. Their puppies will have been administered standard dewormer and vaccinations and are signed off by a licensed veterinarian so we know they are healthy before allowing them to leave their mother. We back this up with a health guarantee, provided the adopter continue to keep them up to date and spay/neuter them.

FAMILY BREEDING

We are a family breeder, not a kennel. This means our dogs do not grow up in cages with just the bare bones to survive. The puppies are family, not products to be sold, and are raised as such. They are hand-held and played with every day, introduced to baths, nail clippings, some potty and crate training, other animals, people and children so they will have an easier transition into their new homes.
Our goal is to make it easier for the puppies as well as their new adopted parents. We do screen to make sure they each puppy finds a home where they will be loved and cared for as they are here and that those caring for them know the work that goes into caring for a Husky puppy.
The difference is easy to see and we have received so many compliments on how friendly and calm our puppies are.

THE DECISION TO ADOPT

We realize that adopting from a breeder may take interest away from rescue dogs, but that is not our intent. We donate to help these unfortunate animals find good homes as well, but decided to go forward with this venture because our vision is to breed dogs that are less prone to genetic diseases (hence the mixed breed) and raised to live in society with less risk of trauma and aggressive behavior. We envision a relationship with a companion with less concern about loss due to genetic illness or heartbreak having to give up a dog that is too set in its ways to be trained for family life. We want our dogs to live their fullest and not end up as one of these dogs that end up in a shelter because people do not understand the amount of work that goes into raising a puppy.

Our dogs cost more to adopt than would purchasing from a shelter, but this cost is derived from the points mentioned above. Invest in peace of mind that you are signing up to love this new family member for many years to come.

When we followed up with our adopted families, this is what they had to say...
.
"She has the cutest personality and lots of it. She's absolutely perfect!!!"

"He's definitely the best dog I've ever had."

"She's so much fun!"
